Has anyone spotted a review for this model? Check it out on @Newegg: ASRock Phantom Gaming B550 PG VELOCITA AM4 AMD B550 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard https://www.newegg.com/asrock-phantom-ga..._-08022020 As you're aware, I'm hoping to wait for the X570 Tomahawk to be available. Interested in seeing if it performs well as well? Looking for durability rather than just overclocking or power.
It seems you're discussing a steel weapon with various designs. If it's accurate, it's strong enough for a 3950x. However, the X570 tomahawk offers better performance. Could you clarify what you're preparing and your budget?
It seems this item has poor documentation. I’d prefer a B550 Aorus Pro instead, unless you require the POST code, which is also less expensive at $180.
No, you don't necessarily need it. Consider your requirements before deciding.
Ultimately it comes down to your budget, but most people won’t really feel a big difference between SATA and NVMe drives. The gap between 3.0 and 4.0 models is even less noticeable. Around $200, alternatives like the TUF X570-Plus and X570 Aorus Elite stand out, offering much less in comparison to similar B550 options at the same price point.
It's really disappointing. If someone would sponsor it, that would be great. LMAO. It's hard to picture all the time spent making a video about it. You mentioned the B550, and I've added it to my PCPartsPicker list. Likely I'll just go ahead and order it. The final option is a case.
