Hello everyone, I've been working on my build plan for a while now and have decided to use a 10600k CPU. I noticed only three tenth generation CPUs are available right now, and I'm curious when the rest will be released. Since I'm in college, I'd like to build during the summer so I can get it as soon as it's out. Thanks for your support and any useful information!

None of the latest chips are clear. A 3700x costs similarly but runs much quicker.

The 10600K is expected to run low soon, so it might be better to switch to a 10700K or opt for a Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X. For 1440p gaming, you won't feel the difference in frame rate and can enjoy a solid setup now and later.

Thanks for your assistance. The issue is that I need to use the system for running Xplane or other simulations, and I've heard Intel components perform better for those from others.

You're seeing better performance with FSX Steam Edition on your 2700 compared to your 6600k 3000 Ryzen setup, which is unusual. It might be related to how the game handles different hardware configurations or settings.

Intel processors often take some time before hitting shelves after their announcement. I expect around a month from now they’ll be available. If you’re aiming for performance and willing to pay a bit more, the 10600k is a solid choice.
