I found information about enabling Resize-Bar on Intel+AMD processors like the i5 9600K and 5700X. I updated the BIOS first but still couldn’t boot properly—both DRAM and memory LED lit up in orange. I suspected a configuration issue, so I reset CMOS and retried with just the OC settings, but the problem persisted. I’m wondering if updating the BIOS caused issues with XMP profiles. I plan to adjust settings gradually over the weekend and will re-flash the BIOS using the latest version for Z390-H (version 3004). Also, can you confirm whether Resize-Bar works on your system? Thanks in advance.

For safety, I’d wipe the CMOS and reposition the memory modules if needed, along with the CPU.

I started with just 1 RAM module, then changed the slot and switched to another RAM. Nothing happened. I had to erase the CMOS to get it to boot again. The only thing I didn’t do was re-seat the CPU, though it seemed fine before. Surprisingly, my overclock worked well, but with an updated BIOS it fails now. On the weekend I plan to test one setting at a time, beginning with XMP since it’s related to RAM. Still, I need some guidance for proper diagnostics.

When the OC fails on a fresh BIOS, it likely means a faulty BIOS that compromises your OC functionality. Restore to an earlier version.

Thanks, I'll also give it a shot. It looks like this new bios is only for Windows 11.
