According to what I understand: It wasn't a driver patch but only the "Nvidia Experience" update. I applied it today, and my driver on a GTX G1 970 remains at 344.75 (11/18/14). The GeForce Experience version is 2.1.5.0, and it has been functioning properly since the update. I believe the driver wasn't modified and there should be no stability problems.

It was just GeForce Experience to avoid any GPU driver updates.
