Latest Firefox version available.
This software currently has some issues—bugs and glitches are appearing. I had to look for an add-on, which helped me quickly restore the compact menu, though it was still misplaced. The save function doesn’t work consistently; changes disappear when Firefox restarts. This isn’t always reliable. It seems like a problem was introduced, but overall the ideas are good. Once fixed, it should be much better than before.
I dislike the copying from Google Chrome tabs at the top, though I can't say it's excessively bad—just a bit concerning.
Keep using the previous Firefox version until they release an update. It’s worse than the old one. After the fix, everything should improve—except maybe a human error. Nice that I don’t restart the browser often; I usually just shut it down and hibernate instead.
It's odd they chose Chrome-style tabs. The merging of the 'Bookmark this Page' and 'Show Bookmarks' buttons into one feels confusing. You need both options or none at all. That design decision seems unusual.
It seems you're wondering if FF29 matches or exceeds Chrome in performance. You appreciate the smoother experience on YouTube and notice fewer issues compared to Chrome's recent problems. Your question also covers overall browsing efficiency, noting that everything syncs well in Chrome but you're open to switching for better speed. Help decide! Thanks!
