Opinions on the newly released X870 motherboards are mixed. Some note that B840 and B850 models won’t appear until late 2025, while others mention the X870E lineup is currently expensive. The GIGABYTE and MSI variants are seen as strong options for gaming builds.

It looks like the ASROCK X870 PRO RS offers the best value with its 14-phase VRM and superior audio quality (ALC1220). It doesn’t include Wi-Fi, which isn’t necessary for you but could be added later if desired. Is that what you were thinking?

I just set up a system with the ASRock X870 Pro Wi-Fi and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and it works perfectly without any issues.
