Turn off the iGPU in BIOS, then delete GPU drivers for Intel and AMD using DDU in Safe Mode. For your reference, what BIOS version is installed on your motherboard?
I actually turned off the iGPU initially when I first started running Latencymon. I only reactivated it later to see if the problem continued. I disabled it because someone mentioned it could improve overall CPU temperatures, so I assumed it wouldn’t affect me since I didn’t think it was necessary. I didn’t reinstall the drivers, so I plan to try again tomorrow and share the results.
Regarding the BIOS version, it’s 7E59v2A60.
I also attempted to disable the Nvidia HD Audio device, and during the clean reinstall of the Nvidia GPU driver, I omitted installing the audio drivers. This might have helped another user but not me.
Edit: I recalled another possible solution—setting the power plan in Nvidia Control Panel to 'prefer maximum performance,' but it didn’t make a difference.
Additionally, according to HWinfo, all the PC component voltages appear normal.
Any word on this? I have the same problems you have listed and tried all the trouble shooting you did.
I have reached out to Nvidia via their ask a question thing and posting on the forums. I'm in the middle of a back and forth with the rep and they have never heard of this, even though I can find forum posts all over the place with the same issues. Then they go to here fill out this google doc.
