I have a decent spec machine (see below report), but I'm getting bad audio performance. I'm using a focusrite 4i4 external audio interface, connected to a usb c 3.2 2x2 port.
Here's the report. I've made sure there's no cpu throttling in the control panel, but I'm not sure which setting to modify in Bios to disable throttling there, or how safe it is to do so. Any tips, or advice for alternative solutions based on the below latencymon report:

It's common for Nvidia to lead in performance. Blender could be stressing the hard drive more than other programs; I'm not sure if page faults are a sign. You might want to check the drivers page next time. Often, LAN drivers cause the most latency—do you use Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Disable any unused controller and/or update the drivers.

It might be possible with 4 x 24gb units, rounded up. The math adds up to 98, but such large sizes aren't typically sold. There are still many size options available now. It seems the total RAM is listed, not the active amount. Latencymon won’t run on my PC, so I can’t verify the actual usage.

Thanks for the updates. The issue seems to be related to no software running, and you're right about Wdf01000.sys pointing to a hardware communication problem. It might be a GPU driver concern.

resource mon shows no cpu throttling, and the spikes don't match any activity on disk, memory, or network. I considered seeing a few spikes in hard faults per second, so I adjusted my min page file to 16000 and max to 32000, but it didn't resolve the issue.

The Windows driver framework is often mentioned in such cases. Hard page faults occur when the CPU needs data from the disk, and restricting the page file might not help since it might not be the page file. If the program accesses data not stored in RAM, it triggers a hard page fault. These aren't real problems but rather poorly named normal Windows operations. Have you considered trying the LAN driver option?
