Labour costs are quite high in Japan, which makes me consider King's first parts build, but I’m new to assembling a PC before.

For a situation like this... Does your old PC display the "It's now safe to turn off your computer" message when shutting down, and you must manually power it down by pressing the power button? If yes, a replacement case is likely affordable.

EDIT: Cooling could also be an issue - the cases I'm familiar with usually lacked exhaust fans except for the one on the power supply, and they probably didn't have mounting options for additional units. They generally felt more robust than modern cases.

This Windows XP issue isn't related to the case. The cooling system might be the problem, even though they have exhaust fan mounting points—I'm not sure if they can reach the same temperature as the current cases. Additionally, there are quite poor modern cases available.

I believed it related more to ACPI support. However, I'm uncertain about the functionality of power buttons on older cases (those that cut power directly to the computer). Those I know have already operated as expected. Now I realize the OP might also face issues fitting their CPU cooler inside the case. The dimensions were truly beyond what was considered even in the early P4 era. For the remaining components that could come with such a case, any floppy disk drive (both 3 1/2in and 5 1/4in) and optical disk drive with IDE interface would likely need an additional adapter if the OP still required them.

It's very easy. You can send me private messages anytime during the build process.

I haven't placed any orders yet.
I could manage the expenses with a better power supply and a graphics card, but I would likely buy from Amazon Japan (which offers an English interface).

Should you compile a list of links for Amazon Japan then I believe I will proceed with the orders.
