I once had a program that came with a laser mouse. It had several speed options for the mouse at various speeds.
Do you know of a program that works with any mouse?
Thanks, Chris

It seems you're interested in "acceleration" or "acceleration curve." A brief search for related tools shows several applications available.

It was mentioned "any mouse." It might be useful to understand the brand and model of the initial laser mouse along with the present one.

I believe the previous model was Xtreme Gaming but it seems hard to locate. They might no longer be in business. The current mouse is the "DELL - Peripheral B2B Laser Wired Mouse MS3220 Black SE" available here: https://www.amazon.ca/Dell-Laser-Wired-M...084BRHWPM/. It seems the speed adjustment is controlled by the DPI button. Are there any programs that let you customize movement speeds per click?

no, i meant that the mouse moved more slowly when you moved it gently, but I could adjust it so that the faster your movement, the farther the cursor traveled. There were sliders for roughly five speed options. I had it configured to move very little if you moved the mouse slowly, but if you moved quickly, the cursor would jump across the screen in one swift motion. (the same distance covers a different length depending on how fast the mouse was moving.)

It seems you're trying to adjust the DPI or sensitivity settings for your mouse. There isn't a one-size-fits-all application for this. You'll need to identify the specific brand of your mouse and check if they offer an app that accommodates your preferences.
