Lara Croft embarks on a journey to Siberia in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
It is a third party game that MS paid to keep from their own paying OS customers. Trust me. We are still pissed and there is no way in hell I am buying their console to play the game early when they screw over my favorite gaming platform that I pay them money to game on. All that does is support them screwing me over and bolsters their insane assumption that this crap will make PC Gamers buy their console. The next time I want to hear about Rise of the Tomb Raider is when MS gets down on their knees and kisses PC Gamers ass and tells them they will stop doing this with third party games immediately and Tomb Raider will be released on PC the day it is released on Xbox One. Oh and one more thing. The PC version better not have the "next gen" face. They can keep derp Lara on consoles.
Developers ought to cease backing outdated systems. This is why people opt for newer consoles since they promise improved performance.
I focused mainly on conveying my feelings about the direction of this series instead of focusing on technical details. It seems confirmed that it will be released on PC, though Phil Spencer admitted it was a limited-time deal. At this point, he was only suggesting a possible connection to iOS. There’s concern that Microsoft might be pursuing a strategy similar to their past moves with Halo—possibly acquiring a third-person adventure franchise to challenge Uncharted. If true, it could take a long time before another Tomb Raider title appears for PC, and even then, the game quality might not meet expectations.
It's disappointing they released it on a timed schedule. By then, I won't be satisfied with how they handled other platforms. Let them know they made a mistake—they backed the wrong side and can lose big with their resources.
