New insights have surfaced regarding the sequel to the 2013 reboot. While Tomb Raider was confined to a single island with limited visual style, Rise of the Tomb Raider will span multiple locations, including Siberia, where Lara is exploring an ancient city. The development appears to be expanding the game’s mechanics further, introducing richer animal behaviors influenced by environment and time. Crafting mechanics are also expected to become more significant. Notably, the Xbox 360 edition is being managed by a different studio than the Xbox One version, enabling Crystal Dynamics to concentrate on creating a modern experience without retro constraints. Rise of the Tomb Raider launches on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 this holiday season, with additional platforms anticipated soon. IM SO EXCITED! ;D Source: http://www.technobuffalo.com/2015/02/04/...mb-raider/

Looks quite authentic, I'm really keen to check it out. Perhaps I'll even manage to get a Tomb Raider this year after all the delays. It's a bit disappointing it keeps coming out on the 360 platform, especially since other teams are also developing it.

You're enjoying Tomb Raider a lot! It's impressive how far you've come in just 13 hours.

It's really frustrating to admit this might not be suitable for the PC Gaming forum.

It's important to mention that the team handling the 360 version is Squeenix's in-house PC developer, contributing to Tomb Raider, Hitman, Deus Ex: HR, and Theif. The benefit is they're actively working on the project, which could indicate ongoing development of the PC port. However, they're currently focused on the 360 build, which might distract from other tasks. Despite this, they previously completed a PS3 version for Tomb Raider 2013, showing they handle older hardware. Continuing support for older systems is understandable—people would likely be upset if games required only the latest GPU and Windows 10.

Why are they keeping the Xbox 360 out for another two years after the X-Box One was launched? o.0
