It’s important not to jump to conclusions but always verify before assuming anything stays consistent. For example, switching from an RM850x to an RM1000x can make a noticeable difference.

Did you discover a fix for this? I'm facing a comparable problem. My new 1000W RM1000e isn't functioning properly, causing loops between the CPU and DRAM lights. With my old CV550W PSU it works fine, but I've already filed an RMA which doesn't help. It sometimes boots after resetting CMOS, but only a few times out of fifteen attempts. I'm trying to figure out how to resolve this.
