Yes, it's a bot. On A320 boards, overclocking isn't possible. The VRM performance is poor, making them ideal only for athletes and Ryzen 3 systems.

It also relies on the particular motherboard design. More refined chipset support from the maker would have boosted compatibility and performance over time. You might still work with older boards that came before a new CPU release, as long as the socket type remains consistent—usually you can run the system without problems. I wouldn't suggest pushing the clock on a micro ATX unit intended for an HTPC, since adequate cooling isn't guaranteed there.

The goal was to add Wi-Fi, and the antenna cost isn’t an issue if it’s 250 CAD.
