Hello everyone. My Lenovo V15 Aba Laptop is equipped with Ryzen 7 5825u and comes with 8GB soldered RAM plus a free SODIMM slot for future upgrades. I've already added an 8GB stick, bringing my total to 16GB, but I find that 16GB isn't sufficient for my needs. I primarily handle large CAD projects and detailed mesh models, so gaming isn't a priority. I'm considering adding either a 32GB or 16GB RAM upgrade. Would this really improve performance, or would it not be worthwhile? Also, as a student in Turkey, I understand the value of finding a better fit without spending a lot right now.

For better performance, increasing RAM usage tends to be more effective than switching to a full dual-channel setup in an unbalanced configuration.

I use 8 GB plus 16 GB in a comparable laptop, and everything works perfectly. Much improved compared to skipping the RAM upgrade at all.
