I'm trying to conserve energy since the older CPUs aren't very power-efficient and my cooling rates are consistently around 20 W.
I get it, they do tend to drain the battery quickly, especially when the fans are running at full speed.
Hello! I own a Packard Bell notebook tk85 with an Intel Core i3 370m processor.
I want to under-volt the CPU while it's running in high temperatures, especially when using Chrome, which causes a lot of thermal throttling. I've recently changed the thermal paste.
I tried throttlestop and Intel xtu, but both didn't start.
Is there any software that works for this CPU? I need help.
