Laptop restart doesn't reveal the SSD issue.
I recently changed my MSI GV62VR 7RF laptop storage of 1 TB HDD to a Crucial BX500 2TB SATA drive. I made a clone using MiniTool Partition Wizard. The disk was on the D drive and had no operating system installed. The cloning process worked perfectly, and everything functioned normally. However, whenever I restart my laptop, the SSD vanishes. I even tried refreshing via Disk Management, but it still doesn’t appear. It only shows up when I enable hot-swap for the SSD, and it works fine then. The issue always occurs during a restart, though it sometimes happens during shutdowns. I checked the BIOS updates from MSI’s website, but I can’t locate them for my laptop. The firmware on the SSD is up to date, and all drivers are current. Please help.
