Your laptop must have RAM that fits into slots, not soldered. If it does, you can easily swap it around. But if it’s soldered—common in some MacBooks or slim models—you’re stuck.

In the task manager, verify your current speed and upgrade it if needed. Open it and inspect whether the RAM is soldered or use the manufacturer’s website to check specifications.
