Hp EliteBook 8560 has the power button light and fan working briefly, but the screen remains black. The laptop won’t start at all even after charging. Please let me know if you need assistance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! If your laptop is connected to the wall and shows the problem you mentioned, consider removing the rams from your laptop and then the internal battery. Unplug it from the wall, hold the power button for 30 seconds, then reinsert the ram and plug back in (not the internal battery). Check if the issue continues. Are there any flashing LEDs on the keyboard?

Thanks for the reply. I’ll follow your advice and respond within a day or so. Could you also be a bit clearer about the issue? Is it a faulty RAM, a dead battery, or a damaged CPU? I’ve been searching online for hours without finding a solution.

And there are no lights showing on the keyboard and your approach isn't effective. Could you consider an alternative method? It's really important right now.
