I downloaded it and noticed there’s no Wi-Fi photo included. What should I do? If possible, could you suggest a simple USB Wi-Fi adapter—something small and discreet like the ones you get in tiny USB cases? Thanks! I’m not familiar with Windows 8 before, and it seems like no Wi-Fi signal is being detected.

The laptop came with Windows 10 by default, so HP probably didn't release drivers for Windows 8 on that device.

Ensure the Wi-Fi is activated. The HP indicator on the F keys should be green, not orange.
