Hi, I just purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro with a 120Hz display. I noticed it also offers dynamic Hz settings at 60Hz and 120Hz. I set the Windows display options to always stay at 120Hz, but something unusual happens—my cursor changes to 60Hz on the desktop and in other applications. The only programs that maintain 120Hz are Chrome (using integrated GPU) and AutoCAD (running on dedicated GPU). I’m having trouble keeping everything at 120Hz. Also, when I move a file or text box, the cursor returns to 120Hz. I hope you understand, sorry for my unclear explanation, but it’s strange what I see with my eyes.

Check the serial number on Lenovo's support site for any pending BIOS updates. After that, update the operating system. Then use DDU to delete all GPU drivers, and finally reinstall the newest Nvidia GPU driver available on Lenovo's support portal tailored for your laptop.

I followed your instructions and still faced the same issue, identical pattern, 120hz but fluctuating to 60 occasionally, then returning to 120 based on my actions on the laptop.
