Hello, I have a problem when upgrading my laptop's memory. My model is Asus TP300LD. According to online specs, this laptop has 4GB of built-in RAM and one slot for adding more up to 12GB. The built-in RAM is Micron DDR3 4 GB. Here are the details before I upgrade: https://imgur.com/a/Or1yYnI After upgrading, only my new RAM shows up. I installed a Samsung DDR3 4GB PC3-12800 rated at 1600mhz. The details of what is detected in the image below are https://imgur.com/a/1lUBiXI Because of this, the laptop only shows 4 GB even though I have put new RAM inside it. Anyone know why this problem happens? How can I fix it? I have had this issue before when newly installed RAM does not show up. It could be that the new RAM was not installed correctly or if they are incompatible specs. But if my built-in RAM is gone, what do I do?

Does a 4GB memory size appear even after you take out the extra RAM stick? What computer system does it run on? And which specific laptop is this?
