Hello! I bought an ASUS G733QS laptop around two years ago and have faced a problem where the graphics clock stays stuck at 210MHz no matter what. This affects gaming performance. The power consumption also hits 752W, which is too high. The device runs normally otherwise and doesn’t overheat. I took it to an authorized ASUS service center for testing and repair suggestions. They said the graphics card is likely failing, which matches the issue. Their advice was to replace the motherboard, based on software fixes: reinstall OS, update BIOS/VBIOS and drivers, and run a benchmark with Unigine Heaven. Unfortunately, my warranty is gone, so I can’t use the return merchandise authorization process anymore.

shuntmod can work on soldered laptop gpus. it mainly adjusts power consumption, often used for overclocking with voltmods, and can also help stabilize the GPU running at low frequencies.

Consider testing ThrottleStop 9.6 at https://www.techpowerup.com/download/tec...ottlestop/. Share a screenshot of the TPL window to check your power settings. This tool includes an INI file feature that lets you adjust the maximum power for your Intel GPU. Setting it above 752 might unlock full performance without automatic throttling. Edit the ThrottleStop.INI file with the line IGPU=4095, save it, and launch ThrottleStop. Run a GPU-Z render test and capture the ThrottleStop Limit Reasons window during the process.
