Hey there. My laptop has been with me for about seven years now. It started acting up after certain games, shutting down unexpectedly even when handling simple 3D content. This issue popped up no matter what kind of 3D load I was using—even basic webpage models could trigger it. It’s not a high-end machine; mostly it’s used for streaming and light usage. Still, when I need to run something, I enjoy playing games that run smoothly. Recently, though, the problem has gotten worse. I’ve reinstalled drivers repeatedly, tried both old and new versions, but nothing fixed it. The Event Viewer shows no critical shutdown errors. The worst part is how unpredictable it is—sometimes it lasts for hours, other times it crashes instantly. It could play a game like Roblox for 30 minutes without a problem, then fail completely after just a few seconds. There’s no warning before it stops. It doesn’t crash with a blue screen or freeze; it just disappears suddenly, leaving nothing but a black screen. Not to mention, this wasn’t always the case. Six months ago I used it less often, but it worked fine. Now it’s failing almost every time I try, even games I used to enjoy without trouble. It feels like some kind of curse was placed on my machine when I wasn’t paying attention. I’m not overheating, and I have enough mental capacity to check for updates. Still, replacing it might be the best option—I know its speed can be frustrating. But having it here means I can still play a simple game while watching TV, which would really help. Thanks!

It seems the power adapter might not be delivering the correct voltage anymore. Likely, it’s just reached the end of its life.

It seems the internal power source is nearing the end of its life. Capacitors degrade over time, causing them to fail. Once this happens, the system can no longer supply power to both the CPU and GPU simultaneously.

It could occur whether it's connected to a power source or using battery power. I was just trying to find a solution.
