the problem began after a few months with the same symptoms. before it started lagging, everything worked perfectly—games ran smoothly, temperatures stayed stable, and cooling performed well. now, during gameplay, especially in titles like valo, dota, or space engineers, the system freezes briefly or disconnects online. the cpu usage is around 80-90% and gpu usage 60-80%, depending on the game, while fans stay at normal speed. i’ve adjusted the cooling settings to higher rpm, but it still doesn’t resolve the issue. the hdmi connection stutters sometimes under heavy load, causing restarts. when power drops or in brownout conditions, pulling the hdmi helps but not always. the m.2 drive shows a temperature of 92°C, but hdd sentinel reports no errors. after running sfc /scannow it didn’t find any issues. reinstalling windows in settings fixed the problem temporarily, so it seems the cause lies either in the drive failure or the motherboard itself. this laptop is only about a year old, and i’ve already replaced the thermal paste and cleaned the fans—still no lasting fix.
