While playing Apex Legends, the monitor, keyboard, trackpad, and speakers ceased functioning abruptly. All external devices and the computer remained operational normally. I attempted a full power reset by unplugging everything, including the battery, and holding the power button for approximately 60 seconds.

When I attempted to restart the laptop, the power indicator illuminated, the fans briefly activated for 2-3 seconds before ceasing. The power light remained on for about 15 to 20 seconds before shutting down completely. I repeated the process with only a RAM stick installed (both configurations) and still encountered the same issue.

No visible damage was observed on any components. The temperatures recorded during the crash were:
- CPU: 72-85°C
- GPU: 61-65°C

The laptop model and adjustments made are as follows:
Laptop:
HP Omen 16-wf0007nt 7Q7W3EA
CPU:
Intel Core i9-13900HX
GPU:
NVIDIA RTX 4070 8GB Laptop

Adjustments made to the device:
- Operated exclusively on RTX 4070 GPU via NVIDIA Optimus.
- Fast Boot disabled using the registry.
- ThrottleStop settings applied: High Performance power plan, SpeedShift EPP set to 140, C1E enabled.
- OMEN Gaming Hub settings: Performance profile selected, maximum battery drain limited to 40%.
- BIOS was not modified.

EDIT:
Prior to conducting additional tests today, I considered performing a power flush each time I wanted to turn the laptop on. It turned out that as long as the lid was on and the laptop was manually powered off by holding the power button, I didn’t need another reset. This suggests a potential hardware or BIOS issue, though the exact cause remains unclear.

Attempted to boot without any parts except a RAM stick, but the same issues persist.

Before proceeding with additional tests today, I considered performing a power flush each time I wanted to turn the laptop on. It turns out that as long as I keep the lid closed and manually turn it off by holding the power button instead of letting it shut down automatically, I don’t require another power flush to activate it (though it still doesn’t boot). I suspect this issue might be related to hardware or the BIOS, but I’m unsure what exactly is causing it.

Do you have the warranty left? Please send it back. It should be at least two years.
