It's an Asus N750JK with an i7-4710HQ, 16GB RAM, GTX 850, and a 250GB hard drive. Someone lent me a laptop for college, but it was slow at first. I managed to get it running at a decent speed. My issue is that it gets very hot, reaching up to 99°C. I don’t know how to fix it. I use it on a flat surface, can’t open it, and the person said it was cleaned and the settings reset. The area where the power plug goes becomes warm. There’s limited ventilation around the screen and under it. By any chance, is there anything I can do? I’m worried about getting burned accidentally, honestly. Since I rest my left hand there, I can feel the heat. I don’t have another laptop to buy, so as long as they let me, this is what I can use for school. P.S. Sorry if the English sounds weird to you while reading it.

This setup probably needs new thermal paste for the CPU and GPU. Suggested options include Noctua NT-H2 or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut.

Because the device isn't operable, the best options seem to be cooling pads and/or vacuum coolers.
