the issue with your laptop on the new PC seems unrelated to power-saving settings. you've updated the network drivers, tested different cables, and confirmed it's connected via a switch—still experiencing frequent shutdowns. there might be another underlying problem needing investigation.

It seems to occur only with your PC. When you say disconnect, what happens? Does the internet stop working or does it indicate the cable is unplugged? My initial thought was DHCP lease, but if it’s just on your PC, it’s likely not that.

I just installed a new PC and it didn’t happen before, and when I mention disconnecting, the system says there’s no cable connected even though there is one.
