I run Linux Mint on my laptop and connect via SSH from my PC. After updating to the newest Mint version, I set up an SSH server using APT. The issue is that my sessions feel slow. I've tried various SSH commands, reinstalled the server, even reinstalled the OS, but it still lags. Connecting to a remote server from my laptop works perfectly. It seems like the problem isn't a network issue. The delay appears only after a short pause when typing something.

Check if your laptop includes an Ethernet port. When you turn off the Wi-Fi adapter, switching to a wired connection typically restores the usual functionality.

Your laptop lacks an Ethernet connection and only supports Wi-Fi. A good idea would be to use an adapter.
