I own a solid machine [i7 6700k gtx 1070 16gb ram ssd 550 watt power supply], but I still experience lag spikes or FPS drops in every game I play. I've tried all the possible solutions so far, yet nothing has fixed the issue.
Verify that all your drivers are current and functioning correctly. Also, review Task Manager to assess your resource usage during gameplay.
Peep your task manager when the game is open make sure everything is running normally and nothing is sucking your ram or cpu usage

every cpu temperature ranges from 45 to 50, and the gpu stays around 65
