Lag?
Lag?
Hey everyone, I just finished a new build and tested two games. The frame rates seem to drop sometimes. I’m not sure if it’s because of my GPU or CPU. In GTA V, when I walk normally, everything runs smooth, but driving causes huge lag and crashes. Could anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!
It's not experiencing lag; the low FPS might be due to reduced graphics settings in the game.
Patch 1.28 severely disrupted the PC version of GTA V. The game fails to operate correctly unless users revert the update or apply a corrected version. https://www.google.bg/#q=gta+1.28+stutter&tbs=qdr:m Even Rockstar acknowledged the problem. https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-...pdate-1-28
For GTA V on an FX-6300, reduce view distance, population density, and population diversity to around 75% of their maximum to minimize FPS drops. You can also adjust shadow settings—these are all demanding for the CPU, but once changed, the FX-6300 handles GTA V fairly well. I seldom drop below 60fps on a GTX 970 and an FX-6300 clocked at 4.4ghz. I usually play at 1440p with reduced resolution to shift the load to the GPU.
I'll attempt to apply it shortly, thank you for your support!
