Coming from Silver 3 - MG2 with experience playing against LEMs, this is entirely accurate. Anything below Nova 1 tends to be a mix of inexperienced players. I’d say around Nova 2 onward, people are generally more respectful, and once you move past DMG, they seem much more mature and confident.
In the S2 I’m completely in agreement. I’ve been trying out some PS3 titles and discovered a more grown-up fanbase.
I discovered this with CS:GO, but the community can feel quite toxic during competitive play. I'm still getting used to playing the game in any way I like, and unfortunately, people often take advantage of me. Despite that, I enjoy the game too, so it's a shame some forget it's just a game and life continues even if the team doesn't win.
