Hey everyone! Just switched Kubuntu 17.04 and Windows 8.1 on the same SSD and got a restart prompt. After rebooting, I noticed it jumps straight to Windows without showing any GRUB menu. The first time I booted into Windows, I could see Kubuntu in Windows Explorer but that’s no longer happening. I used MiniTool Partition Wizard and here’s what I saw (Disk 2 is my SSD).

Change the root directory, mount your partition on a live disk, chroot into the desired location, and then install GRUB.
