Kubbuntu live boot available?
The screen appears white, but your motherboard might still be functioning properly.
It refers to a situation where the screen appears blank or unresponsive, often because the computer's internal components, such as the motherboard, are not functioning properly.
Consider fresh ISO downloads, various USB drives, and alternative distributions to avoid incorrect flashing techniques. Which tool were you using? Turn off secure-boot? Others might have better suggestions. Certain devices don’t work with the system. I recently used Kubuntu, Fedora, Debian, and Suse without issues. Yet Mint remained unresponsive beyond the menu into the live session. I re-downloaded the ISO, switched USB drives, and attempted multiple times—still no success. I gave up and attributed it to Mint. Prior to testing live distributions, I tried them in a VM. Kubuntu behaved oddly, not displaying in full screen like other distros (including Mint), which was unusual. For best results, test other KDE-based distros. To me, the live session with Kubuntu was noticeably slower than Fedora/Debian (all KDE). Possibly a hardware or driver problem. Since my hardware is over 9 years old, it could be an older Ubuntu version not running well. Perhaps the issue lies with the original Ubuntu platform rather than Mint. Feedback would be helpful.
