I bought a Koolance chc 122 and used all the 1/2id 3/4od tubing and compression fittings, but it turned out smaller than expected. I'm wondering if my fitting will work or if I need to switch to a 45' or 90' size.

I wouldn't be sure those compression fittings would function properly with a block that appears so compact in the image you found online. It's likely you'll need to use barbs unless the angled fittings are sufficiently narrow.
