While going through Dark Souls Remastered, I realized the Lautrec isn't in his cell. When I looked up the issue, it mentioned it wasn't a bug but didn't clarify why he's missing. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Stay safe, and take care.

Defeat the gargoyle before releasing him; otherwise, it will flee from the cell alone. Upon returning to Firelink Shrine, he should be present there.
