Last week, many videos appeared online about this topic, and I was just watching Jim Sterling's video this morning.

It's available in Early Access. I just released it a few days ago.

I appreciate the value they've assigned to it.

If I recall correctly, it will be six months in early access. I'll wait until it's balanced and feature complete. Stats and unlocks will be wiped anyway. There's always a risk with early access titles to be alreay tired of them when the game is feature complete. Allthough I can understand it when people pick it up right now or in the upcomming summer sale. What I've seen so far looks really good.

Because they had already finished the beta, they kept it closed until they resolved all major problems. Now it's available only in early access since new content is being added daily. Tripwire is a smart and reliable developer. I trust them and plan to buy a copy for myself and my girlfriend this weekend. A great way to distract her from the mini Zed kicking her in the belly.

I had beta access and found it to be quite enjoyable. The game played well overall, though I noticed some content issues and occasional audio problems.

Don't assume poor executions reflect weak ideas. This team often makes the same mistake. Killing Floor 2 is a solid early access release. When they developed other titles, they rushed and didn’t fully incorporate community input due to time constraints. The main gameplay is already complete; now they’re adding more content hoping feedback will help refine it later. Even the gun animations during reload attempts are a bit awkward. The only downside is the lack of substantial content—just three maps, four perks/classes, and one boss. It remains enjoyable, but consider waiting 2–3 months before diving in.

It's alright, but it could use more details and depth.

I didn’t enjoy the original Killing Floor. It felt dull after a while, similar to what @totjup5 mentioned, but mine was with the first game rather than the sequel. It seems there’s less content now—probably not very challenging.
