Hi, I'm here to assist you. Based on the Linus video, I upgraded my first motherboard and CPU from Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. B250M-DS3H-CF to a B550 Tomahawk with Ryzen 5 5600X. The system runs very fast, but I'm experiencing an issue with my keyboard—when I use it, it powers on but doesn't register any input. I'm currently using an onscreen keyboard, which is a Skyloong gk61 that has worked well for a year. I've tried updating drivers, but it didn't help. Other keyboards function properly on different PCs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I mentioned it's a B550 Tomahawk and that applies to all of them.
I located an automatic driver updater named Bit Driver Updater. It detected just one outdated driver that Windows missed, and it matches the date on my keyboard, which might be the solution.
It was also noted as skyloong gk61, with HID keyboard functionality under the keys.
I haven't encountered anything that isn't malicious... Honestly, I'm not very sharp. It appears as a keyboard but doesn't accept any input. I saw this on another forum—unplug the keyboard from your PC, then press and hold Esc + FN + Q while plugging it back in (holding the keys) and release when done.
