Hello everyone, I recently purchased a set of spare laptops that included an HP 11 X360. I fixed the problem mentioned with it, but now I’m facing another issue with the keyboard. It doesn’t seem to work at all—no response when selecting a device in the boot menu, no function in BIOS or Windows. Surprisingly, it does respond when I power on the laptop and press the Esc key, which opens the pause startup menu. However, once inside that menu, the keyboard stops working and I’m forced to rely on the touchscreen. I’ve checked Device Manager in Windows, and the keyboard appears to be detected, which adds to the confusion. I also noticed that when I press the caps lock on my external keyboard, the corresponding light on the laptop’s keyboard turns on. At this point, I’ve tried everything possible—updating drivers, reinstalling Windows, switching to Linux, updating BIOS—but nothing has helped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, the touchpad seems to be malfunctioning as well, even though I suspect it might be a hardware issue. I’d prefer not to replace it until I’m sure the keyboard is still functional.
