I own a Logitech k235 keyboard that unexpectedly types random characters. Each key press yields a unique sequence—1 gives 'r', 2 and 3 are fine, 4 gives 't', 5 and 6 give 'z6', etc. This behavior occurs across different computers as well. No visible dirt under the keys, and it's mainly used once a week for presentations. Any advice?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
The same issues arise when connecting the keyboard to various computers.
The issue is with the membrane sheath beneath the switch. Removing the entire keyboard will expose this membrane. If your keyboard comes with a warranty, notify your seller and Logitech to check if they can replace it. Finally, if cleaning the membrane has no effect, you’ll need a new keyboard.

Took apart the keyboard today. Didn’t spot any obvious issues, but after reassembly everything functions properly again.
