Tried a quick clean on my Lenovo l390s keyboard but it started working again. Pressed buttons randomly—like mute, mute, and caps lock. Tried typing numbers like “8” and “=8” in caps lock, but nothing worked. Reinstalled drivers, checked language settings, reset the BIOS, but I’m still confused about what to do next.

No, I did not use a liquid-based substance.

I cleaned it with baby wipes containing liquid, but they didn’t drip wet—they were just damp. I dried it right away.

It seems there might be residual moisture on the keyboard, similar to what you'd notice if a drink spilled on it. How recently did you clean it?

At first glance, it might have been much worse before the A key stopped working, now most keys seem to function, though not perfectly. It’s 11:32 pm, I’m going to sleep and check it in the morning.

It seems like the issue is likely liquid damage. Let it air dry completely. If it doesn’t resolve, consider replacing the keyboard or using an external one.
