I handled it and it didn’t display anything. The motherboard came with an antenna that fits into the port—probably not ideal since I removed it and reinserted it without any visible result. I’ll switch to a wired setup instead.

You're allowed to connect with any USB Wi-Fi adapter.

I'll check the acknowledgment. If I resolve my WiFi issue and start applying Windows updates, could this be the update that resolves the problem?

I just looked up at my nearby Walmart and saw they only have a Netgear adapter available. I need the internet connection first to install something new. Do you have a Cat5 Ethernet cable on hand?

Avoid purchasing that device. Ethernet should be Cat5 or 6. You don’t require it; a USB Wi-Fi adapter is sufficient. Updating might resolve the issue and install the necessary drivers automatically. A Windows update could also add the Wi-Fi driver.

Ensure your keyboard connects via a PS/2 to USB converter. If you already have one, verify your motherboard supports a PS/2 port. Then connect the PS/2 port straight to the board for proper functionality.

I can’t browse the internet or search Amazon directly, but I can help you find options if you give me more details about what you need. Let me know the product type and price range, and I’ll suggest a suitable link!

I'm not sure if a USB to Wi-Fi adapter will work for you, but you might want to check the link provided: https://www.amazon.com/wifi-adapter-usb-...mp_s_a_1_9. It's inexpensive, so give it a try. If connecting to Wi-Fi remains difficult, you may need a LAN cable for completing the Windows installation.
