So I'm looking to jump back into mortal kombat, but this time on pc (last time I played mortal kombat was on ps2). I was wandering how one would play mortal kombat on a keyboard, and what are the pros and cons, in your opinion, for both a keyboard and controller. What I think the pros and cons are for each (I don't have experience playing fighting games on keyboard so feel free to weigh in on this) keyboard pros: -mech keyboards actuation point -comfortable keyboard cons: -awkward feel for fighting games -sharp learning curve -fingers might get caught on keys Pros controller: -easy to use/almost no learning curve -more compact -less moving hands around cons controller: -can't utilize all fingers -have to smash buttons -pressing buttons at same time is pain in the ass -dpad/joystick not very accurate what do you guys with experience playing fighting games on a keyboard think about this? What would your pros and cons be? Should I spend the extra money on a controller or just grind to learn how to use a keyboard in fighting games?

I’d really choose the controller because it offers a simpler learning curve and feels more comfortable. For casual games, I like to relax with my feet up and use a controller instead of playing without one.

For certain games I favor the controller after I got a PS3, so I use its device. I received the Bluetooth from an old HP printer and now it works wirelessly. You can also connect via cable if you don’t have Bluetooth. Motion Joy is a Trojan horse.
