I've been attempting to run Windows 98 inside DOSBox, but whenever I install it and enter the CD key, I encounter a "key doesn't work" message. Someone suggested using the offset codes "1DD7h" and "1DDfh." I opened a hex editor and tried searching for those, but when I used Ctrl + F I couldn't locate them. Did you notice anything unusual about your approach?

I found it after some Google searches, sorry for the false alarm.

I am seated with a multi-boot CD that supplies the Windows 95/98SE/ME credentials to me while setting up.

Yep. I made it years ago so I wouldn't need to keep track of multiple disks when working with computers of different ages. And I'm glad I did as I've lost all 3 original disks. But the custom CD is better anyway for the fact that it doesn't need a boot floppy.
