I recently purchased a Ryzen 7 5800X and upgraded my PC. My configuration includes an Asrock B450m Pro4 8x2 with 2666MHz RAM (overclocked to 3000), the latest BIOS, an RX570 GPU, and a 1TB Samsung 980 SSD. I also installed a fresh Windows 11 installation. There was no space left for the drive, and my computer would crash after a while. After troubleshooting, I discovered the issue was related to the CPU cooler (CPB). Disabling it in the BIOS resolved the problem, allowing the system to run smoothly. However, when CPB is active, crashes occur during program launches or after a few minutes. The Cinebench 23 score dropped significantly from 1500 to 1200 on a single core. Anyone have insights or solutions for this?

RAM OC can be challenging; it might appear functional but often leads to unexpected crashes. Test it in stock configurations.

I completed all the tests on the stock components and narrowed it down to CPB. Just a few minutes ago I overclocked the RAM, and this issue had been happening with non-overclocked RAM.

Did you verify the temperatures and voltage levels? Your motherboard might be too poor to handle any overclocking.

I'm searching for something specific now. Back then, this motherboard was seen as decent for light overclocking. I'm not sure what to focus on regarding temperatures or voltage/power inside the case.

Additional HWInfo64 findings also apply. Your BIOS configurations should remain under 80°C.

All my BIOS configurations are at the default, except the CPB is now disabled and RAM is set to 3000. Should I reset it back to default RAM? I’m not sure how to verify the motherboard temperature.

No issues detected, but I'm focusing on real-time performance during execution, like this.

I'm using cinebench 23 and these readings are what I'm seeing. It seems to be stable now, but it usually crashes around this time. After this test, I'll attempt to run it again since it tends to crash right away.
