Kernel Power 41 is running on the verge of failure.
Hello everyone. Over the past week I've experienced daily reboots on Kernel 41 while playing games—Path of Exile, Doom Eternal, and Dead Space Remake are the main culprits. The issue has intensified as the week progressed. I've tried all possible fixes: reinstalling Windows, swapping my power supply with a friend's, resetting GPU drivers via DDU, rolling back to an older driver, updating BIOS and software, re-seating components, and even running memtest86 on RAM. All systems are functioning normally except for the GPU, which still reboots despite cooling improvements. I noticed some corrosion on the heat sink, though it doesn’t seem to be touching the die—I’ll share a photo later. My instinct is the GPU might be failing, but the error is too generic and no one else has a spare I can test. I’m considering sending my CPU and motherboard in for repair since they’re under warranty, but my GPU is now out of warranty. All my hardware is from 2021, and I’m running out of options. Any advice or insights would be invaluable.
