I considered an option. CSM remains active because it’s required for startup. Once you switch your Windows boot drive from MBR to GPT, disabling it afterward won’t interfere with functionality.

You have the setup locally, which isn't too impactful unless you encounter that specific scenario. It can be useful to keep it active just in case.
