Hello everyone, thank you for reaching out. I’m experiencing a problem where my monitors suddenly turn black and display 'no input detected' during gaming sessions. I can still hear the game audio briefly before it stops, and the RGB lights, fans, and other components remain active. Restarting the PC with the power button is necessary. This issue occurs frequently—more than once per hour—and seems to worsen if I play right after rebooting. It only happens during gaming, not when using the PC normally.

Here are my system details: CPU – Ryzen 9 5900X, GPU – ASUS TUF 3080Ti, Mobo – ROG Strix X570-E, RAM – 16 GB DDR4, Corsair Dominator 1064, monitors – ROG XG27UQ (3840x2160@144Hz) and 27GL850 (2560x1440@144Hz), OS – Windows 10 Home 64-bit, PSU – ROG Loki 1000W, cooling setup custom with EKWB CPU and GPU backplates.

Additional notes: I’ve mainly played Genshin Impact recently, but tested it on Horizon Zero Dawn and Cities Skylines as well. Graphics drivers are up to date. In-game temperatures are around 65°C for the CPU and 70°C for the GPU. I’ve tried using Win + Ctrl + Shift + B without success. RAM is in dual-channel mode and stays under 58% usage during games (as shown in Task Manager). I have two high-quality cables from the PSU to the PCIE slot, no daisy chaining.

I’m not very experienced with troubleshooting and haven’t found a solution after several weeks of checking tips on YouTube, Reddit, and Google. Would it be better to replace the GPU, or should I try something else? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I might start with DDU first, perhaps the driver is damaged so a clean install could help.

The installation you performed is distinct from DDU. It comes directly from the NVIDIA website, while DDU is a separate utility.

It's not the case, DDU guarantees all previous drivers are removed from every folder. A fresh driver setup might leave behind outdated and damaged files. DDU remains the top choice and is always my initial action when resolving issues.

I tried it but faced similar problems after roughly an hour of play. Do you have any alternative suggestions? Thanks.
