I'm facing an issue where the game experiences frame jittering, and the only solution is to cap the framerate at 60 in RivaTuner even though my display refresh rate matches that. It's puzzling why this adjustment is necessary. Is there another approach to resolve this? It seems to occur in both online and offline games, as well as non-intensive titles like the demo I tested on Kickstarter. The specs were: CPU Intel i5 4670K, GPU GTX 780, 8GB RAM, Asus VS247H-P, Windows 7, Avast 2014 antivirus.
Turning off Vsync can lead to visual issues such as a jagged display when your frame rate exceeds your monitor's refresh rate (typically 60Hz). While Vsync generally produces a clean image, input lag becomes more apparent. Unless you're experiencing the usual minor tearing you expect, this setting might not be ideal for you.
It's not crashing. It seems like the program is pausing for less than half a second.
