Hey everyone, I’m trying to move from Unity to KDE and noticed the instant messaging widget displays Facebook, but clicking it gives an error. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks! Thomas

This message indicates a missing Facebook plugin. It asks if you have one installed and what you've tried before encountering the issue.

I'm new to KDE but have some experience with Ubuntu. It seems I might be missing something, possibly needing a fresh Kubuntu install instead of what I currently have. I'm trying to figure this out and haven't found any plugins online.

I don't rely on KDE or Facebook Messenger. When searching with apt, I see: kaccounts-providers - KDE providers for accounts sign-on, kde-telepathy, metapackage for installing all KDE Telepathy components, kde-telepathy-minimal, metapackage for basic KDE Telepathy, libkfbapi-dev, Facebook API library for KDE, libkfbapi1, and debugging symbols. I would attempt to install kde-telepathy first, then libkfbapi1 or the providers if needed.
